We recently purchased a  Quest Elite Rolli Awning Standard (one that stays on the side of the caravan) instead of a standard awning.  Does anyone else own one, and do you struggle to expand the tension poles along the roof, and can you put the poles into the side panels and extend the tension poles.  It takes 3 of us to help tension the poles!

Not familiar with the Quest product you mention, but an awning pole tensioner might just help.

Just as an example, see:

It looks similar to the Fiamma type that we have. Ours is easy to tension as there are several holes and a pop out button to select the tension we need.

How does yours tension?

yes ours has three holes to tension, my husband is generaaly fit and strong  (we are not old im 44 and my husband 51) but we have really struggled.  The  first time we put ours up a man with a fiamma awning came and helped, it took him, (another well built man) myself and my husband pushing and pulling, second time we put it up it was my husband, myself and our daughter we still struggled, we're not new to awnings and caravans but this is proving difficult.
