We will soon need to use our water heater on gas but cannot find an ignition ? ,is it just a case of turning it on and it ignites itself ?
Thank you

If its a Carver, you just hit the switch with three lights next to it. If all is ok you should just get a green light. It does the rest all by itself.

Agreed.
Also, if you add your van make, model and year to your profile, it will enable people to advise you better.------------- Jennifer

If your van is a 2008 Sterling, your heater will probably be an ultrastore, turn it on at the rocker switch and the rotary knob. There may be a red light which will turn green once its running, it is self igniting.
