Hiya ... I've probably put this in the wrong section so I'll say sorry first :)

Just wondered if anyone knows if the A12 is dual carriage way or is it at least a suitable road for towing on from London upwards.

Its a 2,3 and in some places 4 lane dual carriageway depending on how far your going. Lots of freight traffic so be prepared for lorries overtaking.

Its dual-carriageway all the way to Ipswich from the M25 then its the A14 dual then again dual to Wickham Market Then it's single nearly all the way to Kessingland/Lowestoft

Try following it on Goggle Earth/Maps by zooming in a bit
