just thought id say hi,im quite new to caravanning, but have plenty towing experience(work related)and camping experience(kitcar shows and camping breaks)iv just aquired a freedom 280 and was wondering if anyone knows what age it would be,there are no plates on the a frame, only some foriegn writing stamped on the frame itself, looks like axle weights and nose weights, the van itself is in need of some resto work, the inside has been stripped and has only the basics,ie bed/table at one end,and 2 cuboards,a double where the cooker/sink and fridge was,and a single oppersite which i think was a taller wardrobe, all plumbing and gas has been removed,im happy with the way the van has been rebuilt as i want it to be as light as possible as i will be towing it with my kitcar which only weighs in at about 900kg tops(need to get this checked on wiegh bridge tho)and has a 2.3 v6 engine fitted(pics in gallery)the van came with awning and has mains hookup,
cheers eddie
