depends on your tv or aerial on van

 if you have a digi tv should auto matically tune in to stations on site when you use the auto tuner,providing you have a good signal.

 if you have a status 530 aerial on van,this is sufficient to receive digi signals,just turn it to the strongest one.

 neither of these then yes a mini digibox is the answer,but you still need a good aerial to pick up the signals.

If you are looking for a compact Sky satellite receiver, then keep a look out for a Pace 2000 Mini-Box (aka Javelin) I have fished the odd one or two out of a skip, as they used to be std issue for Sky MultiRoom a few years back, great little receiver, and runs of 12v via external power pack.

For none Sky receiver, go for a Comag 12v unit, again very small, as for Freesat from BBC/ITV most receivers are full size, havn't seen any compact models as yet.

I think a tv with built in free view is better as, with a seperate tv and box you have a lot of wires and it looks untidy

yes you are right it does look tidier , but not every body want to throw a working tv away when you can buy a freeview box that records for £19.00
