Have Quasar 524, 14 months old. Noticed cracks around the mounting points for the Gas locker door struts. Anybody else had problem with cracks in this area?
Hi, we have the Lunar Quasar EB and our van was recalled by dealer and they have fixed the area all around the cracks and put strengthening on. There was no charge for this as it was a recall, they also gave us new connections for under the bed as the struts were originally plastic and failed.

This is a very late follow up on this thread but I'm very interested to hear of your problem.
We too have a Quasar EB with cracking from the gas struts. It was bought in 2007, the problem diagnosed at first service in 2008 and a new front panel fitted under warranty. The new panel now has cracks (June 2011)and Lunar are not interested as it outside of their three year warranty
Can you provide any more information about the recall you mentioned.
Also, do you still have the van and are there any further problems?
we're looking at a 2008 Lunar Quasar EB tommorrow, I will certainly be looking carefully. Was it a problem with vans of a particualr year or a more widespread problem?
