We have a ABI Jubilee Emperor 1993 which we have just bought. This might sound a little dumb but we can't figure out how to set the beds up. We can set the frame/slats etc but can't figure out how to arrange the cushions because no matter which way we put them they just don't fit right. This is for the double and the bunks. Does anyone have a manual or can explain to me in idiot terms? Thanks

Welcome to UKCS, sianandrew.  I can't help very much really, but if I could find a picture of the inside of the van I might be able to work it out.

When we had to make up our double bed we always turned the cushions upside down for a smoother bed - if you have a shaped bit at the front of the cushions, we used to put the bulky bits where our haed anf feet went.  You will probably need to use the backrest cushions as well on the double bed.

In our old ABI Marauder, the bunks were made where the two seated dinette was.  Each seat had a back cushion and a seat cushion - both of these folded out to give sufficient cushions for a bed.  The one side did one bunk and the other side did the other.  In one of our caravans we had an extra snake type cushion which we had to add to the bunks - I seem to remember these were kept in a cupboard somewhere.

I don't know if any of this makes sense of whether it rings any bells, but it just might.  Sorry I have not been of more help.
