Up till now I've cleaned the bowl in our caravans with the same cleaner I use in the house loo - Ecover toilet Cleaner.
My OH says he thinks it might rot the seals - I think he's talking rot .... but maybe not ?!
What do you think & what do you use ?

I just spray with Ecover Multi-surface spray, wipe and rinse with water straight away. I ‘ve used this now for over 10 yrs without any problems on our caravan toilets.

I use caravan toilet cleaner bought from Go outdoors but found if I left it on it actually stained the bowl (It's pink) No good is that !! So n ow after using it I make sure I rinse it off immediately

For the outside of the bowl etc I use Autoglym Super resin polish as I do on the outside of the 'van. In the bowl area I use anti bacterial wipes as I don't feel happy about pouring chemicals anywhere near the seals. ------------- 'A sure cure for sea-sickness is to sit under a tree'

It's damaging the seals that's worrying me too birder.
Not sure if the Ecover loo cleaner will be ok or not. I know it's not as harmful to the environment as bog standard (sorry ) loo cleaners - but not sure if it's harmful to the rubber seals in the lonng term..
Hmm. Maybe a telephone call to the Ecover people is the best thing. Watch this space ! Rofl.

The Ecover people have been very helpful when I have contacted them in the past - we would be interested to hear what they say.
