Trying to charge battery with EHU cable & domestic supply. The EHU powers everything in caravan OK when Zig control is switched to "caravan". I also have a Zig TX-2000 installed plus RCD's etc - this apparently charges battery.
I say apparently as I'm not certain if the battery is ok or not due to being run down by previous owner.
Can anyone tell me how I should set up to ensure charging from domestic mains please?
I have a zig control panel in my van and all I do is flick the orange switch that says charging & fridge simple as that. Don't know if yours is the same control panel or not
The zig only charges to 80% anyway. You would be better off taking the battery off and charging. If you don't have access to a charger, take the battery to a garage.
