and still waiting to hear from police.some scrote decided it was ok to take our 3 week old just under £100 jet wash,also took seat cushions from caravan.easy to replace jet wash but cushions another matter.as its a 93 caravan do i replace or scrap the van.now have 2 padlocks on everything hoping they wont come back .
thanks for that link .im now toying with a refurb.we do it to old houses so why not old caravans.will see how much the wife lets me spend. as you say jet wash not worth claiming for. just hope it rips the paint off the car owned by whoever has it.
Hi, sorry to hear that, jet wash may have been sold for drug money,cushions could have been stolen to order,if you google caravan breakers you will get a list of the ones near you should give them a try.

I'm so so sorry :( makes me spit , I hope you can get round the cushion problem, sometimes on eBay you can find second hand cushions out of vans, or ring a breakers to see if they have any.

thankyou for your kind comments.the police have just phoned me and assured me there is no chance of getting my things back.i have found a set of cushions on ebay perfect fit size wise.not the same colour., are from a 2004 caravan sprung cushions instead of foam. a mere £300.cheaper than a re cover so think i will purchase these.the van may be old but its still solid needs a bit of tlc so i know what i will be doing the next few weekends.also having new worktops ,mono tap spinflo sink with glass lid.new slimline hob and oven.just darent tell er indoors how much.
Excellent :) although still s*** that it happened , but on a light side you will have sprung bouncy cushions now, and all the other bits and bobs It will be like a whole new van , keep smiling , I believe in karma, those gits they will get theirs eventually!

Bewarned , our 2004 caravan has sprung cushions and they are knackered , the springs have had it , they are very uncomfortable to sit on , just we can't afford to get them sorted .
Really sorry to hear about the theft. I know how we felt a couple of years ago when our caravan was stolen. Best of luck with finding the replacement cushions etc.
Scrapping the van because the cushions have been stolen seems a little extreme. As other posters have said, I'm sure there are places that can supply replacements and the insurance should cover the cost.
F ING thieving b at stards!!! Our pride and joy was nicked just over a month ago now, it makes me sick!! Hoping the insurance will come through so we can get a new one and get back out there doing what we love doing.

Got me a crackin set of cushions today from an elddis gulfstream.perfect fit but will need new curtains.just got to persuade mrs t to make em with the nice new sewing machine i bought her with love and infection.

Excellent :) glad you found some replacements , I made curtains for my old Bailey , and I'm definatley no seamstress, but they turned out ok and only took me a day, and what a difference they made, I'm sure Mrs will make you up a set soon, best buy her something nice ( as sewing machines are great but as a perfect gift they don't really pop lol) I once was bought an iron as a gift, let's say my hubby never made that mistake again
