Has anyone tried these new products that claim you can wash your cars and caravans without the use of water? If you have can you let me know how you got on.
I know someone that bought the JML product and he was delighted with it. He said his car was gleaming after. Still can't get my head around the fact that no water is used though.

I use Grease Lightining Showroom Shine, and it is fantastic. No scratching, you can feel the wax going on and it gets rid of all the black streaks too. After two coats I haven't seen any black streaks coming back
I have used WOW on both caravan and car and no scratches and i will say i know how to clean a car, having previously shown a SAAB i used to own, on club stands at motor shows. No way would i use anything that would harm my car etc.
As caravan is in storage with no water, its ideal for me.
Unless people have used a product like this and it has harmed their vehicle then I dont think its possible for them to comment if it works or not
I have used the care-avan waterless cleaner, and it seems to be really good.
I have never actually cleaned the whole caravan with it, I prefer just to use it when the front and back get a bit grimey after travelling - it gives a really nice sheen, and also gets rid of black marks as well
I agree with Rob12 on this one - if people have not used a product they should not knock it -
I have used One Dry wash. Excellent product. Saves a lot of fuss. You can do a bit at a time. Especially useful for those who can't easily get their van home to wash with water etc. I imagine all the different dry wash products are much the same. They do not scratch. The stuff lifts and encapsulates the dirt so that it can be removed effortlessly. Excellent for black streaks too - cuts through a black streak like a knife through butter. I can recommend these products.
We have used One dry wash and I'm just waiting for some greased lightening to be delivered as it was on offer. No problems whatsoever with it and would recommend.

Oddly, yes I did use one a year or two back. It worked MUCH better than I expected.
Im a BIG fan of grease lightnings showroom shine,and got a slap for pushing it.People who say it scratches are the people who have never USED it,and a few of those with little faith did buy it and said it was fantastic...im raving on again..sorry.
We just used the new Care-a-van waterless wash on our ,it was absolutely filthy !! (grit ,mud etc ) and it worked a treat :) sparkly shiney clean :) I used it with one of those microfibre mits that looks like dreadlocks and polished with a microfibre cloth .
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
