If it's a lightweight you are after, then take a look at the Kampa Fiesta.  Available in two sizes.  Zip out either of the sides and zip on the side annex.  An excellent quality lightweight awning - very stable, with steel poles. See my gallery images.

We've just bought a Pyramid Tuscany porch awning with annex and inner from Caravan Stuff 4u because we wanted extra space for grandchildren from time to time but didn't want to have to put up a full awning everytime. We haven't tried it yet so can't comment on how good it actually is but it was the cheapest option.

hi, thanks David and Rob

I like the look of the Kampa fiesta, this may be a silly question but do they come in one size? If so will it fit my swift accord 500? many thanks. Ness

The Kampa Fiesta comes in two sizes 350 and 270 cm.  The size refers to the length (that fits on the side of the van).  They both come ouyt from the van 250cm - the same size as the majority of normal/full awnings.  The annex with ir either.

hi everyone

sorry if this is a daft question! Im new to the caravanning forum! We have seen a Kampa Fiesta awning, it states to fit height of 235-250cm. On our caravan specifications the awning size is 9.68m/31.9" and height 2.76m. Will this fit or do I need the 350 cm size? thanks everyone  Ness

Hi Ness.  For a porch awning you need to check out the following.

1. The height of the van between the ground and the awning rail that runs across the top of the van.  Often the height that caravan manufacturers often quote is the total height of the van, including things like TV arial, any protruding vents, raised skylights etc.  If in doubt get out a tape measure and check for yourself.  It is the height from the ground to the top of the awning rail that needs to be 235-25ocm.

2. The size of the awning rail including down to the floor either side sounds like it might be the 31'9" measurement - check this out to make sure I'm right.   For a full awning the whole of the awning rail is taken up be the awning, hence the need for the 31'9".  For a porch awning you need just the top part of the awning rail to be straight (or virtually straight) for the length of the awning e.g. a straight bit accross the top of 3.5 metres for the Fiesta 350 or 2.7 metres for the 270. With a porch type awning it is only this 3.5 metres (or 2.7 metres) in the case of the Fiesta that comes in contact with the van.

Hope this helps.  Do post again it I have not been very clear.
