hi we purchased our van albeit old new to us van and they were good.jill was our salesperson and she sold my sister in law there brand new one ,niece a new one and a friend a new one with excellent service.
andy in the awning shop is also good salesperson. they are not pushy just let you look at your own pace and you go to them if you are interested in buying .aftersales is good too.
would highly recomend to anyone

Might have a drive down there and have a look. Must admit Pat we found the same dealings with our local dealer at York, couldn`t have cared less if we bought one or not and the showroom/shop well we felt we were intruding just by being there,promised phone calls when models come in not returned etc very strange in this day and age??

hi steve yes im full of praise for yorkshire caravans and its still my local caravan place which i go to regular but theres glossop caravans at glossop.
you could do wi going to derbyshire for a few days and go there.we are waiting to pick our new caravan up from there a coachman amara 2011.(the only reason didnt get from bawtry is they didnt have any 5 berths with window at back)
we got a fantastic deal from glossop and the service was great.our salesman micheal phoned after id emailed enquiring about the amara 550 ,he invited us over and when we got there we had coffee and chocs .he then took us to our van hed put the heating on and he left me and oh to look through the van and sit and discuss wether we wanted it.no pressure sales ,he then came back after 45 mins and wed made our decision to buy it.(2000 pounds cheaper than wed be quoted elsewhere )
i explained to him that im waiting for some inheritance and wanted to pay cash for the van).everything was ok and they are storing it till i get the money .that was in febuary and monies not come yet but they are prepared to wait.
im hoping its in the next few weeks when we can pick it up .
got my new ventura awning from yorkshire caravans though.

Funny you should mention Glossops, we bought our present van from them 5yrs ago and yes we found them fine but as we eventually found out just a wee bit far away from us (York) to have stuff done servicing/repairs etc. Had quite a few problems with this van but nothing to do with Glossops just unlucky I guess!
