It would only have split if it had water in it. I know when ours split the replacement cost about £25. And I didn't use it cos it didn't fit!

Our dog showers himself and he always likes to have the window closed. I guess he is modest about such things.

I took van for a service yesterday (Saturday). Engineer said the shower head had split. I told him I never use the shower and questioned how this could have happened, He suggested that I had left water in the shower head. I am psychotic about draining down the water system and leaving the taps open over winter. He took me to the spares shop and they only had a beige one at £28.
