Picked up our new ( not new but new to is) swift challenger 480 2006 yesterday, it's awesome, towed like a dream, I loved my 20 year old Bailey I loved my 6 year old Lunar, but I'm totally in love with the swift, so excited when we got it home yesterday, me and Hubby slept in it on the drive we are both 40 but were like two kids in a sweet shop, microwaving, cd playing, all evening, our 17 year old son just looked through the window, shaking his head lol
Can't wait to get away now :D
Who wants to grow up anyway, we've had such a rubbish 6 months hubby was diagnosed with MS, so it's nice to have something fun happen for a change :D
Keep smiling and here's to many trips away.
Hi, Congratulations,"Your allways telling the kids to act their age,but they never seam to listen, until you do some thing out of the norm for you, and they shake their head at you, thats when you know that they took it all in" What more could you want a new van, and the knowledge that all was not in vein, Maybe some good weather to go with the van,Good luck bet you cant wait for your first trip.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
Wish we could keep our van at home - we could sleep in it every weekend with no site fees or fuel to pay for & wouldn't have to worry about our 2 eldest not washing any pots while we were 'away'.
We also picked up our new-to-us caravan recently. It's on mu mum's drive roudnt he corner - and I bean with pride every time I go past!
We're away in Scotland for our 25th Wed anniversary later this week - bed and breakfasts and cosy cottage - and it's going to be lovely. BUT I can't help feeling a tiny bit sad we're not using the caravan!
Thanks so much everyone :) cannot wait to get away soon.
Tracy I know what you mean, it's nice to go away but nothing like being in you 'van congrats on your new van too.
Thanks wizard it's a cracking van and just what we wanted. But this is it now, 3 vans in three years, this one has to last :)
Well done!!! We have always had swifts and have always been very happy with them. As you are now swift owners, you may like to consider joining the swift owners club. Lots of lovely folk and rallies in most areas all year round

Thanks so much everyone :) we are thrilled, we used to have to keep our first van in storage so I know what it's like not being able to have it at home, so we very much appreciate it.
