We got a nice little 5 berth Abi Marauder (1993) recently from ebay, so far looks like a good deal, it's clean and bone dry. However we bought it from a dealer and he stripped everything from it, bar an awning and a porta potti.

Our previous van (a 2 berth Abi Marauder) came with everything we could want, we sold it with all the kit so we are starting again from scratch.

I've picked a few bits up from ebay so far and intend to get more, just don't want to miss anything crucial or useful.

What we have so far:
Aquaroll
Wastemaster Waste Water Carrier
Hookup cable 10m
Calor Gas 4.5kg Butane Bottle
2 X Towing Mirrors
Couple of folding chairs.

"Damn I forgot to get a ....."

Cheers
Colin

Hitchlock and wheel lock?

Pump for aquaroll?

Check the van has the correct regulator for butane?

Has the awning got pegs, hammer etc?

Quite apart from all those, the one "must have" caravanning accessory (if you intend to do any cooking, that is) is a pressure cooker.

Hi all, We are about to set off in the new van in a couple of weeks and I just went back to this post to refresh my memory and noticed I had no reply. Sorry about that it's seems very rude but i work for a defence company and they some times block posts to forums. So very sorry it looked awfully rude but it wasn't intentional.

damn firewalls!

thanks in appreciation
