Sold on my 5 berth Crown regent to upgrade this year and we are currently looking for the following 6 berth Fixed Side Bunks with side seating (rear changing area) Not End Bunks Single Axle Around £8k Any thoughts on models as it is difficult to find this layout. I have looked at caravan finder but not much in my pricerange. These appear to be newer 'vans.
We used to have a Crown Regent 5 Berth, we changed it for an Adria Altea 542DT about 18 months ago. The Adria is a fantastic van,Side Tripple Bunks, rear large wash room, side dinette. It is a spacious van, but you cannot realy separate the rear of the van from the front, We use the large wash room to get changed in.
They fo a 542DK which is s double bunk and the front and back sections can be closed of but the wash room is small.
We paid £10k for our 2010 new so you may be able to get hold of a 2008 or 2009 for that sort of money.
I second the Adria route. We got the 542DK (Twin Bunk) and it has been fantastic. It is lightweight and perfect for the family.
There are some others like the Bailey 540/6 and the vans are just as good but in my opiniion not worth the extra 2+ grand it woould have cost when we bought the Adria.

We've just had the same search but on sat we bought a Hobby 495uk. It's a 2003 and cost£5000 it's got two bunks at side at back and next to it a big dining area that makes a double. At front is another big double. Can't wait to get away and try it out!
I think the triple bunks, side dinettes to the rear only really came about in 2007/2008 (to the best of my knowledge) from UK manufacturers on a single axle and I think you would be lucky to get one below £10k
Just to let everyone know, going to pick up my 2009 Swift Oronsay 6 berth this weekend. ended up have to extend my budget by quite a bit but got a cracking van fitting the requirements. Thanks for all the pointers
