There was a thread on here fairly recently where folk were invited to list the things they found least useful. We had one of these many years ago and it had two drawbacks. The first was you had to take the trouble to recharge it. This was, by and large, a fairly reluctant activity in view of the second drawback: it actually picked up very little, and the majority of this could have been picked up maually very much quicker than the device.
Yours may be much more efficient than ours ever was..... but if I was a betting man............
On a similar thread, we have a 12v hoover we bought when we first got van new and it is rubbish, we tend to just hoover it outside the house when we get home but would really like a good lightweight one to keep in the van, can anyone reccomend a good one to buy (I know the little Dyson is probably the best but £200 is a lot more than I want to spend) Cheers J x

I bought a small compact hoover from tesco - it is not 12v but works a treat and it only set me back about £26.
I don't know where you could get a good 12v one - maybe Halfords? They seem to do lots for the camping/caravanning these days.
