Just back from putting a deposit down on a Bailey Orion 430/4. Chuffed to bits, its a great van which we managed to get over £1500 off. We're having a mover, door flyscreen, one extra internal socket and an external socket fitted. Plus today we noticed the top part of the stable door couldnt be kept open with a catch just the bottom part so the dealer has suggested the fitting of another door catch to solve this free of charge.
It wont be ready to collect til the end of June but that wont stop me shopping for stuff for it between now and then. Went looking at awnings this morning, a whole new world from the tents I'm used to.
I'm so excited, I can stop searching for a van and start searching for a 2nd hand isabella or ventura awning instead.

Thats fantastic - its a great feeling to know that the searching is done with isn't it!! I notice you have changed your outfit already - congratulations the only problem with the end of June delivery is that you will probably be bankrupt by then!!!
thanks, tbh we priced the bits we need online last night and excluding an awning it came in under £200. We've bought the expensive bits from the dealer (battery, hitch and wheel locks) as their price was the best we could find. We've also got the tables/ chairs, cadac, storage unit etc we'll use in the awning from tenting as well as the three way fridge for the beer

its only window shopping at the min. We are just going to buy the essentials and see how we get on then we can add stuff as we need it. Must be sensible as I know from tent camping how easy it is to buy this that and the other only to find we never use it!
