Hi Huggy. Welcome to the site. Questions like this would normally go in the Caravans and Caravanning section As for a reply - it's here. Sorry, but can't hope with that particular model, but just thought I'd reassure you that there are people around and no, you haven't offended us (yet). You'll find us a very friendly bunch generally and only too happy to help out with your questions. You may find the Webmasters will move this to the right section. They're wonderful people and very good at that. (Webby, can I claim my prize now for being so nice?) Seriously, though, Huggy, good luck in your search for a 'van.

Pete

I had one and the only problem I had with mine was the front panel suffered cracks where it joined with the awning rail.

I don't think mine was alone as I saw one at a dealer last week suffering the same plight.

I have photo's if you need them to show you what I mean, but aside from that for the 3 years we had it it was great !

I have got a 2006 Zenith four if that helps, just post up any questions you have Huggy and i will help answer them wherever i can, we are quite pleased with ours, they are the base range of the Lunars, and no longer made, but represent good value for money in the standards of equipment fitted, and ours has just passed its damp test in its 6th year with readings no higher than 15% anywhere.

huggy buggy

I only started in this year also and everything I have needed to ask has been answered. Then I find some more to ask. There are plenty of lovely people on this site and it gets you rather addicted to it as you see the banter between them. Also on the chat site

.I think those that know are waiting for people like us to sign up. They hover over you and then pounce with the answers your looking for. Smashing it is. So you'll enjoy the all of it, I have and am still.

If your like me you will become frustrated with yourself when you lose them all the time, But they are never far away.Plenty of info you can read while you try to find again your newly adopted "temporary" mums & dads

Hi

I have a Lunar Zenith 6 2007, love the van, bouught it as very lightweight, one issue that is not too bad is the locker lid has split at the hinges, can be fixed easily when I get around to it. You will not be dissapointed, we are into out fourth year and that is the only issue. It still looks like new today and does not look as dated as some vans of the same age, we hav no issues with the awning rails.

Shower trays can split on all models, worth remembering that all components like shower trays, cookers, switches etc are similar in all makes of vans, check the swift forums and you will probably see complaints of splitting shower trays, happened to my sisters van, she had a swift.

You will be fine with a Lunar.

Huggy Buggy

I remember Wynnie offering to help us if we lived nearer. It was on one of the first posts questions I asked. I thought then this is a site you get genuine answers from people who really want to & do help.
