Caravan is hooked up to Car overnight.
Should I keep the Electrics connected...?

Can't see why not. There should be no drain electrically between the 2 of them.

Depending on caravan make and age ther maybe a relay that shuts off the 240v connection if the car is connected. With my Bailey Indiana if i did an overnight without disconnecting the car i had to remove the grey plug from the car for the 240v to work.

there was a guy last year with a rover who arrived next to us at the site on a tow truck,his battery was completely flat.the AA guy said something on the car had drained it because it was plugged in all night in the lay-by.one time if you went onto a ferry they made you unplug to prevent battery drain. ------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

If you have ATC on your van then there is a drain on the car battery as this will be drawing current although not a lot.------------- Paul
