hi looking to get the milenco wheel clamp, not sure what size wheel clamp I need. getting the sprite musketeer td. It suits alloy wheels. its sold secure gold status. 89.95 plus 4.99 delivery.

anyone had one of these before??

If its the big yellow thing I used to have one! The reason I no longer have it is because I managed to jam it on the wheel whilst in France and had a devils own job of getting it off which involved removing the wheel and deflating the tyre. (fortunately the way it jammed still allow partial access to the wheel nuts) I dumped it after that. I think the real problem that I found was that it was fine on a properly paved surface but not so good on uneven ground as you are likely to get on a campsite. I now use a hitch lock and a Bulldog Euroclamp.

You can pick up the most secure clamp (alko-secure) which is sold secure diamond, second hand in places like classified adverts or ebay.  I managed to get one for £80.

The only thing to remember is that the insert number has to be 23.

I have a Milenco wheel clamp - never had a problem using it.

I now have this one from Towsure for my little caravan as I found the Milenco one VERY heavy!!

I gave away my Milenco, very heavy and often difficult to get on OR off. If you put it on and earth softens - van sinks - you have a real problem. I used to put a large sheet of wood under a wheel so the Milenco would not become trapped. It was also awful to transport, we wrapped it in a sheet and carried it behind the drivers seat.

My van is in a Cassoa gold site so not stored at home.
