Vanish is pretty good, - so I'm advised by Mrs Z.... afraid I must admit I leave her that job. Apparently it's easy to use & quick to dry. Smells ok too, not overpowering just fresh. Damn sight nicer than eau de spaniel & collie

I replaced our carpets which quickly showed the slightest bit of dirt with Marvel Mats from Dunelm, they are speckled beige/brown and can be washed in the washing machine, much better.
I had some 'Mer' carpet and upholstery cleaner in my car cleaning kit that I had never used so I thought I would try this on the caravan upholstery first. At over £7 a bottle I was expecting brilliant results but was quite disappointed with it. I bought some 1001 carpet & upholstery shampoo from Asda for £1.29p and what a difference. The upholstery smelt so fresh afterwards and also looked cleaner I decided to do the carpets. I would recommend this product too but do shop around as some outlets charge as much as £3 and we found it as little as 98p afterwards maybe in Wiko's. It is in a yellow plastic bottle called 1001 Shampoo / 'large area cleaner for carpets & upholstery - attacks ground in dirt & stains'. I wouldn't spend loads of money on trying different products again because this product works well and it don't break the bank either.
just as cheap to change it.i have just fitted a new carpet this week.go to a carpet warehouse and ask for a roll end or look at what they have they need rid of.cost from £10 to £100 depends on quality required.the one i got was 18 foot long and 38 inch wide in cream (i know not a good choice) .i have fitted it over the original one which is clean but you could cut out yours and use this as a template on top of the new one on the ground outside,cutting oversize by half inch all the way round.then re-fit with care and a very sharp knife.don't chop your leg off its easy to slip with the knife in the confined space of the van floor.total cost just £25 and three hours work.they do have carpet fitters if you are not up to doing it yourself.looks really good.need a big sign now NO SHOES.lol.had a long runner carpet before cost £40 and 19 foot long.

The carpet in our van looked a bit mucky last week when I was cleaning up so I shampooed it ( we have a george vacuum that has all the attachemnts ). When I came to fill the shampoo reservoir my bottle had run out so I just used Flash liquid and the carpet has come up a treat.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
