Just wondering if anyone can help. I have a Swift Challenger 540 and would like to fit some speakers above the bed from the radio. The problem I have is that the underside of the overhead lockers are not flat so I cannot fit the ordinary sunk in speakers into it. I need some sort of speakers that stand off a little, I have looked everywhere and cannot find any. Has anyone got any idea's, any advice would be appreciated.
Not too familiar with the layout of the Swift, but easy option might be surface-mounted car speakers, see flea-bay example here. Surface mounted speakers aren't as easy to find as they used to be, I don't think Halfords and the like stock them any longer.
Alternatively, is there no other flat area with a void behind into which you could fit a suitable pair?
Hi, Thanks Paul keep forgetting about Ebay, spent hours going around car audio centres. I was just looking at ebay while I was waiting for a reply and think I have found some that will do (they hang of a bracket).
