Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help,I have a new caravan that is only 6 months old, but it already has a slight yellow staining of the toilet bowl, despite using top brand toilet rinse fluids, does anyone have any tips on how to clean the bowl.(I know that I can't use bleach.) also is there anyway of preventing it happening again.

  Many thanks. Baz.

If you go to the £1 shop or similar, you can buy liquid Soda Crystals in a plastic bottle that works well and removes most stains. I always use it and keep it in the caravan as it's cheap and works better than other products that cost over three times as much. Just make sure that you wipe it well with a clean damp cloth afterwards. like any other products though, always read the label before use as it advises where not to use it etc.

Trevor.

Very strong or undiluted bleach is the usual suspect on white sanitary ware, just make sure there is not an abrasion or slight rough patch where its discolouring, if there is then I guess it could be a claim on your warranty, I will tell you a method if nobody else is able to help, as being  a contractor any thing I suggest will be on a 'at your own risk basis' sounds a bit dramatic I know but the Souix used to be a tribe of indians now its the word on the lips of every lawyer in the land .
