After having a god awful experience at Haven, I would never ever think of booking with them again. Although the price is good. I
know many families have a good time there, but our stay was a real nightmare and Haven wouldn't even give us a refund as its not their policy to unless you pay extra for their insurance. Needless to say after staying on a campsite that was totally wrecked and just mud. Never again.
Thanks Sugolly for the info, ive just found the voucher in the booklet. I nearly binned it thinking it was junk adverts.
Trigglx..... Which haven is at Filey? I thought maybe primrose valley but on the reverse of the voucher it says this site is exempt.
Your welcome grumbleflick I nearly did they same would have been gutted!!!!
We are going back to Littlesea site in Weymouth stayed there last year & site was wonderful. Toilet blocks heated and really clean. Wardens on site are really helpful and for a commercial site the pitches were a good size and I have stayed at a few of them that were AWFUL and the price helps as well
I got my vouchers through the other day & was thinking of little sea. I haven't been since I was a teenager! I have a 26ft caravan, would the pitches be big enough to accommodate it?

Also near Filey is Blue Dolphin to the North and Reighton Sands to the South. I can recommend Reighton Sands, went there last year, fantastic sea views, very friendly wardens and direct beach access (steep though). Warning, some of the pitches are excessively sloping, but others are level. I was lucky to get a level one last year.
The same as chowey007, I had a nightmare of 2 weeks at a Haven site in 2005, and vowed never to go or recommend them to friends.BUT this was at the site I went to. Since then I have heard from other campers that they have pulled their socks up, and are well worth another go.
