We are more likely to be at Hillhead in Glasgow.

As a Subway Station it will be warmer although the ground might be a bit hard for getting the pegs in.

Drunken Glaswiegans staggering about swiggin whiskey and irn bru reminds me of this place in july

The last time I was in that place Big Al, it was at the 50th anniversary of AA in the UK and there wasn't a single "Whisky Swigging Glaswegian" within 20 miles of the place.  

There was however about 10.000 exceedingly sober people although I do admit, some of them were swigging Irn Bru!!!!

We were there last year and I was an excellent event. I would suggest that you arrive a bit early for the "sit down" as there was not much choice of table left for us...we ended up sharing with a very nice couple and had a great evening.
