When we take our van away we usually take our sons 19" Lcd/Dvd combo tv.
Now I have managed to get a seasonal pitch for next year and I want to buy a tv to leave in the van (not on display) so I am looking at something similar to what we are using.
Now here is the thing, I can get a 22" version for just a few £ more but the wife says it's too big !
Now you know us men "the bigger the better for me"
What do you guys think ??

i hate the tv in our van its 19 inch but after watching the big plasma at home it is like a portable once took the 22 inch from home and oh was right it was too big although i will never admit to that it just didnt fit out of the way.
so i guess it is as big as you feel you need as long as it fits where you want it to
Our current tv is a 15" flat screen but OH is getting that new Avtex 18.5" with the memory stick doo dah for next season but I've told him thats as big as it gets - I don't want a TV taking over the living space.
Avtex W163D 15" screen with built in freeview. perfect picture on every pitch all of this year just using either the caravan aerial or booster hook up. The TV has a DVD player built in. Maybe not the largest screen but as everything is smaller and closer in a van it works for us. If the screen was any bigger, then, in our van, when we turn it round to face the bed for watching the news in the morning, we would lose half the picture!

15" screen from the bed - I'd need a telescope to find it let alone see it
But the size depends a lot on the size and available space in your caravan.
We don't watch much tv anyway and don't have one at the moment, we watch DVDs on my laptop which has a 17" screen and that usually sits between us in bed when we watch.
Currently looking for a tv that has Freesat installed as standard but the smallest we've found is a 32" and while we have the space for it it could be a tinsy bit on the large size even for our van
So OP go for a size that does fit and remember today's 22" are about the same size as yesterday's 19"

22" in the front of the van, a 19" in the bed room in the back of the van,But when i pick the new van up, we havent decided if we are going to need the 19"..plus 32" in the awning next year. lol. mind you I am seasonal.

We are trying not to get a TV for the van as the kids watch far too much at home, however we do take the laptop and dvds when we go and that is a 17" screen. I think 19 " would be ideal but 22 may be a bit too overpowering in a van.
However, I think it depends on how big your van is and how good your eyesight is ;-)
OH would be exactly the same if he did that. Gets dish connected before anything else while I am sorting out the van. Chooses site so that he gets a good signal. When TV on it is just like being at home I am not allowed to change channels (God forbid I even touch the thing).
We have 19" on a bracket almost identical to one up a bit that goes between living area and bedroom. I wouldn't want any bigger.
Don't care about TV when weather is good but if cold and wet keeps OH and DD amused as they are too alike and need the TV for entertainment as most of us like to go away to get away from all that.
