As for a dish and associated bits I can recommend this simple compact and stable offering from Melksham stallites at £100;
http://shop.satelliteonline.co.uk/fast-finder-portable-satellite-dish-kit-330-p.asp
It is easy enough to set up so with a permanently sited van practical enough to put away when not using the site so avoiding light fingers and the ravages of the weather.
To complete you need one of the many decoders; a surplus SKY or a cheap offering from Maplins.
Personally I would go for a "Grade A" Humax Freesat unit from Humax Direct:
http://www.humaxdirect.co.uk/product.asp?ProdRef=10070&cat=Factory
The reason for this being that true Freesatâ„¢ units give you a 6 plus day Electronic Program Guide, which is not available in most generic units. And at that price you get a higher quality unit with a Humax than most other offerings.

You don't need a satellite card and you certainly don't need to spend £100 on a system. We bought a sat dish, tripod, LNB, cable etc plus a sat finder device for less thn £45 delivered to the door. See http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390204136681

Don't you need a Sky card for the subscription channels if you want them? (like Sky Sports)

You only need the Sky card if you want to watch subscription channels. We taek our card but only watch Entertainment Pack as it si a hassle to upgrade to the movie channels for the week and then do it again when you get home unless you take the Sky box with you. Sky HD+ boxes can be a pain to set up in a caravan if you don't know what you are doing.

As I said, we take the box from home with the card, as OH would curl up and die without his football! Does your £20 card give you Sky Sports or have you not tried for it?
