Hi all
Am feeling sad as our caravan is now in storage for the winter and dreaming of the next time we can use our van in Spring. This got me thinking - how long is your season each year? We use our van from mid March/early April up to the end of September/early October. After this into winter storage as we find it too cold/muddy/dark etc. What about you?

No reason not to use modern caravans through winter. Understand the cold/muddy bit but dress in a vest and it can be ok. I think we have had the van out every month but December.

This year didnt start till April, just had our last week, Next year I have a week for Feb 1/2 term booked.

Our season starts at Easter and our last trip is Dec/Jan.! We've just taken our 'van back to storage today until our trip to Scarborough in December - just hoping there's no snow this year as we had to miss our xmas/new year trip last year and that made it too long a time between trips (October til Easter). Thats 6 months, half a year, with no caravan trip away!

march/april till october,would love to do all year but think it would need to be a lodge at a loch and as i cant afford it i can only dream!!!!!!,must be great to do all year maybe when its retirement time

All year long, it can be just as nice to wake up on a cold and frosty morning in december as it is to sunshine in July or August.

I too have to stick to school holidays (i can't have my hols during term time because of my job!) but there's still xmas hols and feb half term!

All year for us.  In winter we'll just do weekends within an hour of home so we can go Friday, get set up & one of us nis back to get the kids when they come out of school.  It'll be enough to keep the cabin fever at bay.
