Hi, we were away for a few days during half term and my OH seems to always have backache in the mornings after sleeping in the van. I occassionally suffer but not as frequently as OH.
We have tried arranging the seating cushions differently when making the bed up but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions that might help? I even wondered if a memory foam mattress topper might help?
Thanks

Its funny but my OH suffers too! We have tried cushions in various places and we now think it s when sleeping over the double bed pull out bit, so moving further in seams to help.

Memory foam here too we have two single 4" and they roll up and secure with Velcro straps so they fit in the bed boxes. But make sure you use your seating upside down you would be surprised how many people don't realize that.

Yep, same for me. I suffered from the same then bought a 4inch memory foam topper and no more back ache! :-)
As others have said, make sure you turn the cussions over as well.

Thanks again, didn't realise so many people had the same problem!
We had tried turning cushions over too as I had read somewhere that the cushions have a higher edge to them which could cause backache......didn't help though!
Had a quick look on ebay last night to get an idea of prices and sizes,do most people buy double size? or as Sue suggests is 2x singles easier for storage? and I'm guessing anything thinner than 4" is not as good?

We only went with the 4" as they were on offer at the time we have 3" at home and they are great but my personal preference I wouldn't go lower than that because if you do and it still isn't to your liking your back to square one.
