 we are new to caravaning, have been away about 5 times in are bailey caravan. this time wen we went away for halloween i had a problem with the oven the gas kept blowing out as if there was a draught, this happened about 3 times then it stayed alight any ideas wat the problem was

In the little cupboard under the oven there is a vent in the floor, this must not be blocked as if it is the gas will keep going out - (saftey feature). I found this out with our last caravan (Bailey Ranger) when I kept the oven pans in that cupboard and one of them was covering the vent, I moved it and it worked fine after that.

The only way I can keep our oven (Compass caravan) is to have the door of the compartment under it open! I do make sure there's nothing blocking the vents, but the oven won't stay lit with the cupboard door shut.
