please help we have recently adopted and was wondering how any of you with children secure your door at night as the door in near the front and its closer to their beds . was wondering for any ideas as we have looked at these magnetic alarms like window alarms ?????

any ideas guys please

We used a bolt at the top of the door when ours were tiny, and cable tie on window as it was right by the bed.

instead of adding more locks how about an audible alarm? you can pick them up from most £ shop places (i think) and im sure the police neighbourhood watch give them away

you have 2 parts 1 a connecter and 2 the alarm bit with batteries in as soon as the door is opened from either inside or out its will wake everyone.

if its to stop little ones getting out while your asleep then choose a position that they carnt turn off
