Apparently my awning size is 1088 so have been looking at several.

What I am confused about is that I keep reading awnings that say 'size 1075' and then say  'to fit 1063 to 1088' - how does that work? 

My dealer told me there aren't many awnings that will fit a senator wyoming, is there anywhere where I can get a list of makes that will fit?

Getting an awning to fit a particular 'van is not an exact science.

In the case you have mentioned the actual A to B length of the awning. ie from the front to back via the awning rail is 1075cms. The manufacturer expects this awning to fit any caravan with an A to B length of 1063cms to 1088cms.

In the case of your particular van, it's on the outer limit of what is acceptable.

Whilst not perfect you have to understanc that the differece is a mere 13cms which is less than a foot.

I doubt that any maker makes one closer than that.

Inaca do great awnings up to your size - but a lesson we learnt is that it's always better to have a too small awning than a too big one! 

Our awning size actually matches the listed measurement for the caravn - but to actually get it to fit right we ended up with our van on 4 concrete blocks to lift it up 4" - so that we lost 8" of surplus fabric and could actually stake it out properly.

Thankfully it's on a seasonal pitch so we only have to do it twice a year!
