I've got the caravan pretty much emptied out for the winter, no food left lying around, cushions all taken out and stored at home etc.
The one thing I haven't done is to remove the battery. The van is in storage and is not hooked up to electricity, so do I now need to buy a battery charger, remove the battery and bring it home and then keep the charge topped up?
I'm guessing that it is somehow bad for the battery to go completely flat over the winter and then be recharged once I start using the van again in the spring, though I'm sure that with some types of battery it is recommended that you let them go completely flat before recharging them.
Just when I thought I'd got every accessory I needed!
Cheers,
Derek.
