We went to the caravan show on saturday and looked inside some, they advetise as 'Stealth pure luxury' We didn't agree. To us they appeared to be a very aquired taste.
We saw one in Switzerland in the Summer with bits of trim hanging off it - had a knock I think.
I was not impressed at the show, best summised as looks better from a distance!! I got excited when I saw the image of their new T58 triple bunk soon to be released but as soon as I went inside and inspected a van in more detail I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, nice in parts but a bit (dare I say) shoddy in too many places.
I have to say its a real shame as I love the concept but not the quality. As OH said they have tried to be different but have in fact just created a box on wheels.

One of the sales staff on an adjacent stand commented "They normally make garden sheds" - not sure if he was joking or not.
We looked at the Airsteams too and I have to say I wasn't impressed either and it's not me being green with envy, yes I would swap mine for it but only to sell it, pocket the difference and buy a conventional caravan lol.
i didnt know what the stealth caravan was till i looked on the link from paul,i dont think i like the look of them at all they dont look comfy or child friendly, dont know when caravan show is at secc in glasgow but might go and have a look,im not impressed with a lot of new caravans the fixtures and fittings look more modern but you are loosing seatin space and quality of furnishings to compensate for it
I haven't seen one on the road either, I do like the exterior though, just not the interior.
It's great however to see manufacturers do something different, we were at the show and the "main" guys - Swift, Elddis, Lunar & Bailey just churn out the same but with different cupboard doors & upholstery.
Never mind Stealth, have a look at Adria if you want something a bit different. They are properly built and won't suffer dents and scrapes from the kids bikes and stray balls.
We have an Adiva and we love it, however, I cannot forget the man who invited himself in to have a look at it and said, and I quote: "I don't like it, it isn't conventional enough and doesn't look like a caravan inside" !!!!
Lord forbid that anyone, Stealth included, should step off the merry go round and change a layout!
Last year at the NEC October show had to queue to get into see a Stealth, then rather disappointed once got inside. This year at the NEC no queues straight in and still not impressed, even with the new layouts which try to emulate the normal expected ones. Again never seen one on site or on the road, would be interested to know how many they actually claim to have sold!
I was really disappointed as I'd heard the new ranges were supposed to be much nicer than the original Stealths - I saw loads of flaws and that was a show van. I also struggled to find them on the show plan/map as instead of Dunster House or Stealth their stand was called 'Top Secret'!! I agree it would be nice to be something different amongst traditional caravans as a reflection of how differently people live but the standard & attention to detail needs to be much higher than this.
