We are returning to caravan holidays after a few years of using a tent, and have seen locally a 1997 2 berth Swift Archway that is in near mint codition and are tempted to buy it this week. Can anyone tell me what standard model this would have been based on please.
thanks to both of you for your replies. However, as I understand it, the Swift Archway Lowick 2 berth is a dealer special, the dealer being 'White Arches' and as a dealer special, it is a standard model that has extras. What I would like to know is what basic model this is based on?
Here is a link to a brochure from 1997 showing all Swift Standard models for that year. From this you may be able to deduce which model formed the basis of your White Arches, Archway Lowick Dealer Special.
It would be good if you could post your conclusions here.
Many thanks to all of you for your help, and the 1997 brochure was brilliant!
It appears that the Archway Lowick Dealer Special we have found is based on a Swift Classic Silhouette, and as it is in unmarked condition with the bonus of the external bbq and tv points we have decided to go for it. Our couple of years experience of changing to a tent left us wishing we had not changed from a caravan, also a Swift. We will now be looking forward once more to arriving on site and not having to wait for the rain to stop before we can pitch!!
