after looking at all my options i am thinking of buying a kampa 350 fiesta awning with the the option to fit an annexe either side to give two extra bedrooms what do you think
No you're certainly not on your own. We have one and I can honestly say it is the best lightweight porch awning we have ever had. It's roomy and sturdy. We have no need for an annexe though.

how does the arch work at the front with it being steel framed ? we had something similar once with a fibreglass pole to make the arch and it was a pain in the a**e !!
is it the really lightweight material its made from ?

Hi Jon,
The Front arch is a single metal pole broken into sections. Basically the top section of the material, at the front has a sleeve, and you feed the metal pole though, joining it up as you come to the next bit. It is a little awkward because there is 'a lot of pole', but we have not found it too bad. It is a very substantial pole - from what I can remember it is in about 8 sections and the sections are connected by a spring.
Although the material is light weight, it also seems a little more substantial than the other light weights we have had.
We take all the sides out when we pack it away, so that when we come to put it up the next time, there is not too much material to deal with. For us, we found this was one of the problems with the Sunncamp Ultima 390 (since sold on ebay).
You can also buy some poles to fit from the roof to the floor, against the side of the van - there is absolutely adequate protection (a large padded section each side) built into the awning to safeguard the van from the pole. At the moment we haven't got a set of these poles and the awning still works well. As you can see from the photo we can get a fair amount of stuff in it. Our large table is the very large roll top and the three chairs are a good size too.
As I've already said (somewhere), it is by far the best lightweight awning we have had (and we've had a few!!). I don't think you will be dissapointed.
We bought ours after seeing one on display at Yorkshire Caravans (at Bawtry, Nr Doncaster). Might be worth a trip to have a look, depending on how far it is for you. They also now sell the awning in 2 sizes. Ours is the larger of the two.
Hi, all we got the kampa 350 for our peg 534 fits just right from behind door catch & just about clears window a bit tight but ideal , easy to put up & very solid . away in anglesey for 2 weeks over easter in 65 mile an hour winds !!!!!! oops should of listened to the weather forcast before not after the winds , other people lost their awnings but the 350 stood up well to it at least till first light when we decided to take it down just in case , even camp owner was impressed with how sturdy it was.. happy with our choice

yes very tight have to put awning tight against door catch then the other side comes to the outside edge of the window, we used ours with the rear upright poles which made a big difference , lots of other campers passed coment on how well the awning looked perfect colour match to the pegs decals really looked the part
