My wife and I are considering changing our current 2 berth van to a 4 berth van. 2 years ago when we bought our current van we also looked at a 4 berth van with a fixed double across the end wall but we are unable to recall the maker or the model.
If you own a van with this layout please can you let me know who made it and the model name? Hopefully I will then be able to trawl the classifieds looking for specific models rather than guessing and being disappointed.
Ours has this layout it's a Elddis Crusader Aurora but the same van now has a different layout they changed it i believe 2 years ago but i do believe there are other makes and models out there who also had this layout but i'm not sure what new vans that are about now have this layout.
We had a Bailey Vendee which had a fixed bed across the front 'wall'. Pro's: a full fixed bed - no corner chopped off. Cons: Difficult for the inside person to get out in the night, side washroom which we (I) didn't like. Now we have a side fixed bed with the corner cut off. I honestly don't notice the cut off bit (and I sleep that side. Wife can get out much easier at night. Lovely end washroom with much more room - I can sit on the loo now!!
