Stardrops is excellent, especially at £1 a litre from the pound shop. Just as good on black streaks as the Fenwicks.
I do like the Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler though. I might try dishwasher rinse aid...

Rinse aid? Never heard that one before!!
I just use the Fenwicks to wash it but find the dry wash stuff is good on the black streaks.

Hi Twinman
wash your van with either fenwicks or a good car shampoo but if you dilute fenwicks and put into a spray bottle this will take the black streaks off.
To stop the black streaks wash the full van including the roof then polish with autoglym super resin polish followed by autoglym extra gloss protection.
If you follow these simple instructions and WASH AND POLISH THE ROOF you will NOT get black streaks or if you do they will just wash off with normal car shampoo.
After you have polished the van dont use fenwicks just use normal car shampoo.
