just bought a 1980 Olympus perle 5 berth, we are first time caravaners im 61 years young and thought id give it a go

canyou help me will a 1985 MK 2 cavalier 1.6 tow this van on the caravan plate it saye 1000KG

is it advisable to paper walls and paint ceiling its quite nice just want to freshen it up a bit

hi welcome to caravanning.the towing limits of your cavalier should be in the handbook (if still available) or somewhere on the chassis id plate area.am i right in thinking thats an old b reg then?well done on keeping a car of that age running to this day.
I personally wouldnt advise using wallpaper in a caravan for fire safety reasons but im sure a lick of pain wouldnt go amiss.its your van so your choices
