Hello all does anyone know where I can buy a Non British Standard Magnolia Touch up Stick please. I emailed Bailey and they said I can buy it at a Bailey dealership but having tried 2 dealers, guess what they don't stock it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've searched for this for ages on t'internet and can't find a supplier. There used to be a supplier called cara-paints or something-or-other, but they no longer exist.
I'd drop Kelly at Bailey another line and ask her to advise which dealers have specifically had the touch-up paints supplied to them; Bailey should have some record if they supply it to the dealers.
If all else fails Sue, write to Nick Howard at Bailey for advice (yes, a posted letter). I did this regarding a query I was having difficulty in being answered and he got on the case and got it sorted. I know it seems long winded, but it might be worth a shot if you're stuck.
Another thought Sue.
If you call your dealer again, don't bother with the accessory shop, speak with the workshop (where there is one). I'd have thought with bodywork repairs they'd keep paint available, so maybe a word in their shell-like might get some de-cantered ...?
i was told by another forum to try SWIFT FIAT WHITE 249.IF YOU GET THIS TRY IN A PLACE NOT SEEN FIRST or try on a strip of card or metal tin.have not tried it myself.
why can bailey not come up with a supplier of the paint required?
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Well, got in touch with Kelly again at Bailey and she said that they don't sell a touch up stick but you can buy the paint in a 125ml tin that can be ordered through any Bailey dealer. That is much easier to say than to do. I have phoned www. Outdoorexperience.co.uk , where we purchased the van from, in Devon and they stock it, so as we store the van at Cofton Country Park and will be booking it in for its 1st service come November, they will do it then. Result at last after a lot of faffing around.
Well Sue, interestingly I got a different reply from Kelly. Reply pasted below:

I wonder if there's more than one 'Kelly' to answer the enquiries ...
I got mine from Discover(Delamere) when it used to be Harringtons.it came from Bailey I think and took a couple of weeks to arrive once ordered. Spray can still in the garage unused!!
