does anyone know where I can get the struts that you use to keep the windows open it's the bar thing i need that you tighten up . Hope this makes sense Thanks Folks Kate
there all different sizes, if you can get the broken one off and take it to a caravan/camping shop they should be able to help you.We've replaced a few over the years thanks to our little darlings.

I thought I'd share the reply I've had from the company. I'm about to order a couple,
Quote "The locks are supplied with instructions but to reassure you they are very easy to fit, this is how it is done. As the originals are very brittle, with the knob removed and on a firm surface, give it a sharp tap with a hammer to crack it, but taking care not to distort the tube. Remove any remaining parts and the location pin with pliers or similar. Push on the new lock taking care to align the pin hole. Important. Be sure to insert the sliding rod before tapping in the new pin.
I hope this is sufficient to give you confidence with your purchase."
Does anyone know if you can get the fixing brackets like these, but for the auto stays ? The little plastic bit that screws to the caravan , not onto the window .
Lots of my stays need replacing, the stay itself is fine but the screw on brackets have snapped . The bit they call the top hinge on the tube type stays .
Follow Dman's link I think you want the same part that I bought. They all are working now easy to fit although my OH wasa little worried about the hit with the hammer bit see Oxter above .Kate
I fitted these the other day and it's really easy - see my post above for the instructions. (They are more detailed in the packet) Half an hour to dismantle, reassemble and refit a pair.
Little brackets are available from most caravan accossory stores. The last I bought were about £3.50 each. My originals were an offwhite colour but the replacements were black--you don't really notice!
