could someone please help me with fanmaster 5500 turbo, on 2 kw heat setting fan comes on in slow mode, bot does not speed up when hot, thus over heating and switching off many thanks

First thing I'd suspect is a slide switch fault, if you set it to fan only, does the back slider work correctly and speed up the fan to full speed?

If it does, then it's possible the fan is clogged up with fluff so not pulling enough air over the elements.
