I had to remove my fridge last week because it was coming away from the supporting frame .Only done it once found it quite easy.

1 Shut off the gas,2 Take off the external vent not where the jointing is just the frame which is screwed in and note how the sponge strips are jammed in to stop the draughs.3 It might be a good idea to use a mirror in the vent to see where your leak is before going any further 4 open door of fridge and just inside there are four plastic caps covering the four screws that hold the fridge in place.5 if you can disconnect the gas pipe from the outside so much the better,i could not on mine but the pipe is looped to enable you to pull the fridge out enough to take the pipe off.6 Tip when the fridge comes out it wants to fall backwards because of the shape couple of blocks will be handy.7 I stuck the foam back in with sellotape just to hold it in place until the fridge compresses it and it will stay there then.It should be tested for gas leaks when you finish.As I say I have only done it once ,and I did not encounter any problems.I hope this has been of some help to you .4teejay

i agree about the external fridge vent covers we had a similar problem emptying the sink water came out from under the fridge i took the top cover off  and found the fault straight away the waste pipe had come apart at a 90` elbow i put it back together and taped it up ,its been fine since (2 years)
