hi just a quick question

Will white spirit damage the caravan bodywork?

Quick answer - No.

Just use meths to remove the white spirit residue.

I'll try that thanks, just need to get rid of some excess sealant.

Use a plastic scrapper to remove the bulk of the mastic , then white spirit on a rag , followed up with meths .

Wear rubber gloves when using white spirit ,its not good for your hands.

Continued use of White Spirit can give you dermatitis.Just Google it and see what it can do to you

Can't help some folk without some people sticking their oar in.

Guess I should stop using it to clean gloss paint off my hands after painting!!! ( Use soap and water straight after!

Here comes my oar - I have used white spirit off and on for about 45years and it has not done my hands any harm.

If I used it in a work environment I would use rubber gloves.

If I had my hands in water in a work environment I would wear rubber gloves. Is I don't, I don't.

Well we all know better don't we
