I don't have the app, but tried the website and that doesn't appear to be working. I put a couple of random towns in, ie Skipton and Keswick, and got the message that the "results could not be loaded". So possibly a problem with both app and website?

Thanks Ina. I went to book Holmside near Gosforth, Cumbria and they are almost solidly booked for May. Tried High Boonwood, just emailed. The owner phoned and told me that they have their own booking system. "I am leaving CL booking because it never works properly" he told me.

I can never get any joy from the app.

Tried it 2 or 3 times and ended up deleting it rather than getting frustrated trying to use it.

Had to go out shortly after posting, so just catching up on replies. It doesn't sound too positive, so don't think I'll bother with the app. I've found the website useful to check if there's availability on a CL I'm interested in, but as a lot of CLs don't use it anyway, and use their own system, it's better to contact them via email anyway. I prefer to have something in writing, rather than a booking over the phone.

The CL App is a great idea, BUT the actual app is as clunky as hell and VERY poorly designed. How un-user friendly the app is has been a bit of a theme in the reviews! I've struggle trying to use it on too many occasions, really not inclined to trust it, living in hope that they take the hint from disillusion users and update it.
