Brought an ultima 390 awning last year and taking it down at easter the wind got under it and hit the side of the caravan and pinned me and OH to side of the van
On close inspection we found that the roof pole had snapped in half, as the awning is not 12 months old I rang the supplier and he told me that he would find out if you could get replacement poles. He never rang me back. I have just rang again and he remembered me he said that we could not get a replacement pole and that the canvas only was under warrenty!!
Does anyone know if I can get this pole or where to get a spare??
hi we had same prob couple of yrs ago, we ended up trimming the pole very slightly where it had bent and the stuffed a broom handle down each piece to re-join them, and we use our awning on every trip since and all been good, even in gale last yr, so i hope this helps,
Now there is a funny thing - I have a set of poles off a 260 but no covering. they will be the same as a 390 but I am in somerset and you are in derbyshire. Any Ideas?
If it is the black flexible pole that has broken Go Outdoors sell replacements in lots of different lengths and widths. We have bought them previously when our tent poles broke. I am sure they would sell a replacement to fit the Sunncamp awning as we also have one and they look very similar to the poles we bought for our old tent.
Doesn't the sale of goods act cover you for the whole thing? The shop you got it from are responsible and should replace it for you. If they won't then you should name and shame the shop.

It wont cover damage caused by accident not attributed to defects in material though.

Oops sorry, of course didn't read the post properly
Hi, I have a complete spare set for my Riversway 390 version if these are the same. The manufacturer sent me a complete set because I was missing the supports for the varander bit.
These bus shelter awnings look like they are all made in China by the same people. If you were close then I would consider selling the set.

Thanks but its not the black ones( the sooty poles we call them as they look like sootys wand) its a silver roof one that slots into a little fabric slot
