Just seen a post re. someones new van so I thought I would do the same.Just sold our Adria Action 361LH & are awaiting the delivey of a new Sterling Europa 545.Have to wait untill mid / late April Any info / comments would be appreciated.We cant wait!!!!
So very nearly bought one myself. Dealer wouldn't drop the price he was offering. Excellent van liked the double dinette layout with the benefit you could make it a permanent fixed bed if you wanted. Toilet is slightly bigger than my peg 534, OH loved the interior colour. I sure you will love it..

Probs because Bailey are tooled up for alu-tech bodies and will have to re-tool for traditional bodies again. Still once the novely wears off normal service will no doubt be resumed.
Its part of the Bailey environmental green agenda is the alu-tech. Now that caravan bodies can last 10 years and not leak. it means that people will keep them 10 years so less materials, less energy used so its environmentally friendly.
6 months though I'd have gone mad having to wait that long poor you!
I have gone mad believe me!! You're right in what your saying, bailey told me the factory has been building the new alutech bodies and the factory is due to be changed back for classic builds at week 13 (20something of march) which is our build date.
Lorraine I daren't tempt fate and book anything just yet! We might end up just camping out on our drive yet. I don't mind though at least I'll have the flipping van eventually.
we have just taken delivery of our new van an Eldiss xplore 546 2010. Havent used but cant wait to try in 2 weeks time fixed bunks for the children and blown heating cosy.
See someone posted a comment about the Pegasus being environmentally friendly. Is that because it takes so long to get one you reduce your carbon footprint by not going anywhere?
