one for you mechanics have got a 2litre merc auto, on last trip out to it just wouldnt pull the van (50 mph)slowest thing on the motorway. the car goes ok on its own - checked the van no brake problems, it just doesnt pull the van and the van is the same weight as before, its just frustrating and annoying cant seem to get to the bottom of it, has towed perfectly before -- any ideas ?

Sounds like a partially blocked fuel filter to me.
